FAQ's

We hope that this may help answer your question. Otherwise, please email us or fill out a form so that we may assist you!

As we operate by appointment only we will not be opening booking online and will require you to contact us to book in a time for a service, meet and greet, or boarding.

This enables us to ensure that we have the time and the space for you and your bird to ensure we are able to satisfy your needs.

Unfortunately there are so many people out there breeding birds and raising them incorrectly that we see a large number of baby or adult birds end up being surrendered to us and other sanctuaries and rescues due to behavioural or medical conditions.

We aim to not add to the overpopulation of unwanted parrots or to put birds into the incorrect homes or care - thus, we do not over-breed our birds and give them year long breaks between raising a clutch and ensure they have homes to go in to once they are weaned and fledged.

This also gives us adequate time to vet you before you are approved for a baby bird or rehomed parrot. So you may have to sit on a waitlist for a duration of time until we have one available for you and/or have gone through your application.

The upside however is that this gives you adequate time to prepare for your new feathered family member; whether this be mostly research into training or nutrition, or saving up some funds for toys, perches, cages/aviaries. This way we are all assured that we can keep our feathered friend satisfied, enriched, and happy.

Of course! We are available to help you at any point of their life and would love to be able to guide you and help you feel confident in both your decision and your abilities.

From needing small tips, catering nutritional needs, adjustment time frames, or preventative treatment information - we are here to give you all the information you need.

On our way to becoming a NFPC

We are trying to split our business of into three branches so that we may still be able to help out our usual clients while also starting a NFPC that offers financial help to those struggling to be able to access veterinary care; offering health checks, medications, and veterinary advice, and taking on surrendered birds and offering them a safe haven to live out the rest of their lives or to rehabilitate them and find them the perfect forever place to call home.
